This plan is for the get healthy and lose weight ready client. Average calories 1100 to 1300 per day. High in protein count, low carbs, low sugar, and low sodium.
Includes 15 delicious meals: 5 Breakfasts, 5 Lunches and 5 Dinners.
Standard meals provide a nutritious 1000-1200 calories per day, or Double the Protein for power-packed meals at 1300-1500 calories per day.
Our meals include seafood at no additional cost, but you're free to exclude it.

Overall, I really enjoy the meals, and I believe the flavor is better than any other meal company that I have tried. The meals are conveniently packed, and the portions are typically very appropriate. My biggest complaint is the amount of processed meat in the meals, especially bacon and sausage. Being from New Orleans, I recognize that bacon, sausage, and many pork products are going to be found in our foods, and, like many people, I find them delicious. However, they are not healthy. Sausages and bacon are considered processed meat because they are preserved through smoking, curing, salting, or the addition of chemical preservatives to enhance flavor or shelf life. As processed meat, sausages are classified as a Group 1 carcinogen by the IARC, meaning they are a definite cause of colorectal cancer. I am not opposed to having bacon or sausage in my meals from time to time, but, in recent orders, I have found that roughly 80% of the meals have had either sausage or bacon in them. That is too much for me at this time. I will order again but will probably spread out orders so that I'm not eating so much processed meat on a weekly basis.
These are the best tasting meals. They are very satisfying and filling that you do not feel like you are dieting. I have lost 18 lbs since I started receiving my meals in August. I love eat crush meals!!!

Shipping was a bit inconsistent week to week at first but then settled out.

While I believe your advertising touted New Orleans food made healthy, there really isn't much New Orleans about it. We really wanted to support a local company and the first pulled pork meal was tender and well seasoned. The waffle breakfast was very good, and the other breakfasts were ok. But the other meals were too meat heavy and too oily. Really think you need some more vegetables and less meat to try to be healthy. Sorry but both my daughter and I who have lived in New Orleans for many, many years are disappointed in the lack of variety and healthy choices. Thank you.
